We have an upcoming trip we’re really excited about. We plan to maximize our time by using all of the extra time, extended evening hours, and ticketed events we can.
When I try to do this in the TouringPlans tool (for example, having a full Hollywood Studios day, but then returning to the park for Jollywood Nights), it won’t allow me to set the time past the normal park “closing” time listed for that day.
Is there a way to work around this?

Unfortunately no, there isn’t a way to do this.
But the good news is this: you generally don’t need a TP for an after hours event! Most of them are low enough crowds that attractions are walk-ons.

Gotcha - so I will keep this for the main “park” parts of my day only. I was hoping this would give me an overall view of my schedule (dinners outside of the parks + these events, hotel events, etc.), but this will do, especially to help prioritize rides.
