Advice for Epcot day on May 7 (fitting in FEA)

Given what I have read about your preferences, I would do this. I wouldn’t plan on finding a 30 min wait for Remy during the day so plan on single rider. Even if the wait for Remy drops to 30 min on the app, unless you are right by France the line will likely be longer by the time you arrive at the entrance to Remy.

In terms of whether you will be off Soarin’ by 9:00 am. You need to get through the entrance line (how long will depend on what time you arrive), walk from the International Gateway to the Land Pavilion (maybe 15 mins), walk to Soarin’ from entrance to the Land, walk through the long (even when empty) queue and then 5 minute ride plus on boarding and off boarding. Seems tight to me. I would plan on more like 9:15ish. I find everything at WDW takes longer than I expect.

From my notes yesterday:

8:36pm getting off SkyLiner at Epcot
8:51pm video in jumping fountain area of Imagination
(Includes security and gate, but minimal lines)

8:56pm last pic at Imagination
9:02 first pics at JoW (includes at least a minute getting popcorn at 8:59) - which includes walking past the Land pavilion (but not the walk up the ramp / into the building / down the escalator, nor the queue itself).

I think I timed Soarin’ itself at 15 minutes during EEH.

Other thoughts:

  • if Remy isn’t your favorite, you could just skip it?
  • I highly recommend TT single rider, so you could just book Frozen to be sure you have it?
  • Figment or Pixar shorts for AM burner from IG (unless you’re already in the Land pavilion). Also, Figment meets in the morning if you’re interested.
  • You could have your soarin’ LL at 9 and just tap in there, versus hoping to be done by then? But we never use the morning 30 minutes.

Thank you, so helpful!

We can skip Remy, and we may. Son’s gf has never done it so hopefully we can fit it in. They can consider single rider if no other option.

I go the Pixar shorts burner for 9:10. I couldn’t get Soarin or LWTL at 9am. Everything was 10 or later. :frowning:

I booked my Epcot day last and it didn’t go great. Will be trying to modify. We stuck with TT since it is everyone’s favorite of the Tier 1 rides. I debated but stuck with it.

I think you made the right call given that TT is the favorite of your group.

Depending on how many days out you were booking, this isn’t unusual and may have been the case even if you booked your EP LLs first.
