Advanced Lightening selections question. Seven days before Check-in or before 1st park day?

We are going to WDW in Sept. 2026 and we staying onsite (GF), since we have a long travel day (coming from Colorado) we will not be going to the Parks on Check in day. My question is can I do the advanced lightening lane selection 7 days prior to my check-in date or is it 7 days prior to my first park date? Thanks for your help.

7 days before checking in to your resort. See WDW’s page about this.
