When this happens, please logout and login. That may be a reliable “reset” that pushes the ads out of the way again.
I have been but will continue to do so. It does seem to be taking longer each time I do this. It’s honestly not a huge deal just trying to troubleshoot for you.

I’ve seen ads. Are they not supposed to be there? Does this have anything to do with the threads not loading properly sometimes?

You shouldn’t see ads if you have a paid subscription. You should log out and back in and they shouldn’t come back. Though it’s obviously not working for @ThorKat!

One person mentioned seeing a blank ad box in the footer once, but you’re the only subscriber who has mentioned consistently seeing ads after a single logoff/logon of the forum. People may just not be reporting it, though.
It’s clear that the ad technology we’re using doesn’t work perfectly with the forum, but we’re trying to configure things so that it works well enough for us.

I still haven’t seen any ads since the one time a couple weeks ago that I reported up thread.
I’m not seeing ads themselves, but still just getting that bar at the bottom - every time I open a new tab or thread, but transparent white with no ads. Have to Shift-refresh the page to make it go away, might work for your ads?
OK new info: I don’t know how this might have affected things so that I was getting that white bar, but I’ve logged out and deleted all TP browser cookies multiple times.
Just now I noticed that Firefox was saving my login info - which I don’t normally use because I use a password app separate from the browser. I deleted the saved login this time too and - in the last few minutes after deleting that saved login info anyway - I haven’t seen any box at the bottom.

This is on my phone, I haven’t had any on my laptop yet (knocks on wood) I use a password program so it isn’t saved anywhere that I know of.

Maybe next time it happens I’ll try deleting the app and reinstalling it. I haven’t tried that yet.
As a follow-up to what JJT wrote, clearing your browser cache is a good idea. Getting rid of cookies for forum.touringplans.com might make a difference, too; I haven’t looked into what our forum software does with cookies. JJT is a wise individual.
