What happens if you have an ADR around the time that MK closes for MVMCP?
Specifically, if the park closes officially at 6:00 pm, and we have an ADR at 6:00 pm, is this allowed?
In my plan, I have us spending the morning/afternoon at HS, and then checking into the Contemporary at 3:00 pm, at which point we’d head over to MK for a few things, including eating at the Plaza. Once it closes down, we’ll head back to our room so we can watch the fireworks from our balcony. But I’m not really sure how much to plan in that window of time. Probably only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours of time…but if the ADR is closer to six, we can probably fit in a ride or two.
What do you mean by “is not open”? You mean, anyone already eating up to that point finishes the meal, but no new guests/reservations can come in after that? Or do they close ADRs early due to the party?
There are restaurants open during regular hours (Plaza, Skipper Canteen, LTT) that are not open during the party. Any guest can book those ADRs on part days. CRT, CP, and BOG book exclusive party ADRs usually after 5.
Okay, thanks. It doesn’t even really matter if we don’t get to do much of anything else, but just thought it could be nice to book the Plaza as late as possible when the time comes. I’ll be booking 180+7 days for that one, so I probably will have my pick of times.
As long as you book a regular ADR you’ll be fine. When you finish you may be escorted towards the exit.
I think an ADR during a party (either) has to be booked through a special page, like a dining package for Fantasmic /Candlelight Processional vs a regular dining ADR.
