A little room request confusion

We’re about 30 days out from our big family trip and after reading and reading some more I’m in need of a little help. We have a split stay DVC rentals Jambo House and Boardwalk with two rooms at both. I contacted Disney via chat to ask for a “travel with” number to include in a request. CM did not give me a number and instead put in room requests at both resorts to have the rooms as close together as possible. This is our top priority for our stay, but after thinking about it, if I add a TP request for an exact room or being close to the lobby is this going to just void out the requests the CM already put in for us?

You should have reservation numbers in MDE that you can put in your room request. You would want to say your biggest priority is rooms close together, and then say what your secondary request is.

But you could also just leave it alone and see what they give you. If it’s not to your liking (based on locating the rooms on the map and seeing if it’s where you want to be), you could ask for a change of rooms with a more specific request by calling (if at the airport / en route) or visiting the front desk.

Travel with numbers are for two different parties who are in separate rooms but who are traveling with each other. Split stays are one party in one room with two different reservations booked where the second one begins when the first one ends. That’s why they didn’t give you a number

You have the same views on each room?

I agree with @Jeff_AZ you can make the TP request and add to the note the other reservation number and that you want to be as close together as possible.

At BW, I would request close to elevator, not lobby. The elevator is right off the lobby.

It’s two rooms at each place. :smiley_cat:

I missed that detail! And I re-read it several times. Serves me right for middle of the night scrolling!

Sorry OP
