Has someone else already posted this? I didn’t see anything.
Disney posted Epcot festival dates for early 2027:
Festival of the Arts January 15-March 1
Flower and Garden Festival March 10-May 31
They also posted that AfterHours events will return on select nights between January 11 and August 25 (so I’m guessing 2027 MNSSHP will begin around that time). (A certain blog posted specific dates per park for AH on instagram, but I didn’t see anything official from Disney.)
Oh no, that is a bummer! We always try to go during F&G (my favorite) which usually starts a week earlier. I love the flower exhibits. We are scheduled 3/6 - 3/13, and our dates are not flexible this time. I hope Epcot is not all torn up while we are there.
Disney starts turning over to F&G weeks before FARTS is over, including plantings, planters, and some topiaries. The week between the two festivals is used to turn over the food booths and signage, and full blown F&G decor. It never looks torn up.
Boo! I’m so sorry you’re going to miss F&G. I love how pretty Epcot is during that time of year. I’m sure you’ll still have a great time, and maybe you’ll be at Epcot one of the first days of F&G.
Are first and last days of festivals extra busy with influencers/reviewers on the first days and locals trying to get their last bites in on last days? (We’re tentatively scheduled for the end of May just to try to catch the last bites of F&G after the school year ends. I’m hoping end festival end + Memorial Day don’t make it more busy than spring break time.)
I’ve been in the few days before F&G starts. And I’ve been in late February a few times. I haven’t noticed any destruction or signs of festival construction in all those visits. Just those dang walls that were up for 52 years.
You’ll have a few days on the back end to take it all in!
I’ve been during the Memorial Day weekend twice. It’s actually one of the less busy holiday weekends. I think a lot of people go to the beach. I haven’t noticed a lot of extra crowds toward the end. The first few days can be busy though.
