Hi all! I didn’t see that this had been posted yet, but the After Hour Dates have been released for 2026. I’m excited Magic Kingdom is available during my April trip, but I am disappointed that Hollywood Studios is not. I keep missing the HS one…
. Anybody else planning to attend any of these?

Oh, I guess I didn’t realize the water park on arrival day offer is only valid during the summer of 2026…
I was staying at OKW a few yeats ago and was so excited to see the drone show at DS. We got back from Typhoon lagoon, checked in and promptly fell asleep until the next day. We did spend a lot of time in that wave pool.

I think they realized this year that having one of the parks closed for necessary seasonal maintenance made it likely they would max capacity on the open park frequently. They had to resort to turning away non-resort guests because the response to the offer seems to have been much more robust than they anticipated.
I don’t like this but I think it is necessary.

Yes, this makes total sense even if it is disappointing.

If the choices are Epcot or HS (or both), what do you choose and why?
HS because the park is smaller so you can get more done.

On After Hour days (or Extended Evening days too for that matter), do the regular day crowd levels follow the Halloween or Christmas party trend of being lower? Or does it start late enough that it doesn’t matter?
HS because Epcot is so large it is difficult to really make the most of the time

My experience with EETPH at EP and MK was that it was still extremely busy. We went for FEA and GOTG at EP and the first took a long time as lots of LL holders were still jumping into the line. The stores were still really busy. It didn’t feel like it did at MVMCP in 2019, though that is a long time ago, now.
At MK we found FL to be a little less crowded after MN.

I think you might be confusing Extended Evening Hours with the After Hours which is hard ticketed?
After Hours is NOT crowded at MK for sure! I can share photos from my two experiences there!
Extended Evening Hours is sometimes busy-ish but definitely not daytime crowded at all.
I don’t think either activity impacts the park’s daily crowd because the park does not close early like for MNSSHP and MVMCP

I can’t say I’d ever be excited again for the Deluxe access EETPH.
After Hours sounds like a decidedly different experience.

I lucked out and will be touring on an Extended Evening day at MK in 2026. How should this change my plans? Are the lines short enough after the park closes to hit everything with minimal wait times?
I was planning to do the fireworks dessert party so I assume we can head back into the part after that is over…
