Hi,
I’m new to using touring plans sort of I used it in 2019 for Disney but I digress!
So here’s what I have and I can’t figure out how to make a plan quickly.
We have 2 day 2 park hopper pass, Ultimate Express and Early entry. We are going the busiest time in April.
Here’s my proble with touring plans when I go make a plan it only allows you to click 1 park. Is there a way to tell it you want to do 2 days and park hop. I just can’t figure out how to make this plan easily.
Maybe someone can help me create this?? or how to do it? I don’t see a plan that includes hopping.
Welcome!
That’s the way all TP plans work - they can only be for one park at a time. You will need to make separate plans for each park, with start and stop times for each plan that match when you think you might change from one park to the other.
It is a bit unfortunate that they can’t let you put all the attractions in one list, and let the system tell you when to go from one park to the other, and even back to the first! But you can make a plan, then copy it and adjust things (such as when to change parks), and see how well things work out, repeatedly. Good luck!
As @mkmuzzy says, you gotta make separate plans. Which I do. Rarely do I have one plan for each day. I generally have at least 2 plans for park opening, depending on which park we might want to rope drop. Often I make an MK morning plan and an MK arrival at 4:30 plan simply to see if I want to be in MK early or late that day. HS is especially likely to have a rope drop plan for each day we’re at WDW.
I realize your trip is 2 days
My first trip plan experiment would be to figure an opening plan for MK for each day. And then an HS opening plan for each day. Hopefully I’d be able to figure out a morning park for each day.
I’d do the same for the 2 evenings. Experiment with some parks.
If you’re going to tour all day have one plan showing that you’re leaving the park at 2 pm.
In your next plan, enter the park at 3. If you’re going straight to the next park.
Erm, OP posted in the Universal group. Express Pass is a Universal item.
Still, your comments are still very valid!
You don’t really need a plan except for Hagrids. With Express and Early Entry do what you want when you come upon it. Try to be at the front of the line for Hagrids during Early Entry or hop in line 5 minutes before close. I usually aim one morning to rope drop Hagrids during early entry and then work my way around IOA counterclockwise. So next would be anything in Hogsmeade like wands before crowds build, then hippogriff and forbidden journey then take the bridge to Jurassic Park and do what attractions you want there as you come across from Velocicoaster to discovery center cuz it dumps out there to raptor encounter to river adventure to camp Jurassic etc thru Toon Lagoon, Marvel Super Hero Island, Port of Entry, Seuss Landing and Lost Continent and when you get to Hogwarts Express take it over and turn left and see Diagon Alley at night. The next day start in universal and go round in a circle zig zagging thru minions land and new york and then to Hollywood land, dreamworks, Simpson, MIB and any repeats or stuff you missed in Diagon alley and then take the train to Ioa for at least a last minute after dark ride on Hagrids and the castle light up show. I’ll add another text with my plans for next December to give you an idea.
These are without food and include everything there is. And with shows you’ll have to bounce around like the first part of the second day in USF so you can let TP help with that. Just take the train when you’re done and make sure to get that nighttime Hagrids ride and know Universal way overestimates that wait at that time of night. Last time it said 90 min and was 45
