Back in January I booked a Yacht Club bounce back for December 2025. This afternoon I received this in an email from Disney:
In an effort to continually enhance the Guest experience, it is necessary for us to refresh our offerings from time to time. In preparation for your upcoming visit, we would like to inform you that the exteriors of Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts are currently under refurbishment.
These enhancements may impact views from various locations throughout the resorts, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. Most pools, resort dining and other amenities will remain available.
Can anyone point to articles or blog posts that provide any additional details?
It looks like that some of the refurbishments are taking longer than expected, or that they are expanding the list of things they are going to do at BC/YC.
This is an aging post but I see you’re not going until December so figured I’d add…. We stayed at Yacht club two weeks ago and the construction had no impact on our trip - either logistically or cosmetically. The front porte cochere was closed and walled off but no impact on bus transportation and minimal impact on valet or uber. The only scaffolding I could (barely) see was inside those interior atriums. Also no impact on Beach Club. That could obviously change by the time you travel. But I was pleasantly surprised by how minimal the impact was.
Thanks for the great feedback on the status of the refurbishments. This gives me a feeling that things are staying on schedule and what can be expected during my stay in December.
