Will I melt in denim capris in mid May?

This will probably be the year when on day 2 I’m on chat begging for shoes recommendations :joy::joy:

I often wear my average Walmart sandals. I had sore feet one day ever in all my trips and that was Epcot. Think was more about no resting.

Not sure that they’re “cute,” but I too wear orthotics in all of my shoes except Birkenstock sandals. Excellent support!

Nothing wrong with Birkenstocks, but I wouldn’t call them cute. They certainly would look odd with the dress I recently bought to wear to the Cali Grill to celebrate with DH! (Anniversary.) Unlike @ryan1, I don’t go barefoot with my dresses. :stuck_out_tongue:

Here are the shoes I’ve ordered most recently to see if I could get my orthotics to fit in them:

Clarks Gracelin Maze Flat (I’d have to rip the current insole out, but that looks doable)

And the Toms Alpargata Slip-on (which should have a removable footbed, bonus!)

Wish me luck!

I just bought something similar, the linen ballet flats from plae. It has a removable footbed, if that is what you are looking for.

That’s a big part of it, yes! Thanks for the tip. I’ll check them out.

Absolutely good luck. I, however, wear Birkies with everything - including vestments. (I’m an Episcopal Priest). I just make sure my toes look cute!

I am a child of the 90’s and remember Birkies revival! Everyone at my high school had a pair. I always thought they were cute, but unfortunately they don’t work for me. I trip in them too much (natural born klutz). I think it awesome that you wear them with your vestments!
