Anyone know exactly when the Wilderness Lodge pool is supposed to close? Considering planning a trip for September if we could squeeze one in before the construction starts - would LOVE to be able to hit an early Halloween party - but I do not want to go when pool is closed. I think Disney is CRAZY to have both main pool at WL and Poly down at the same time for extended periods! Think there is any chance they will push back the WL pool closure?
Also, anyone know if the WL pool closure will include the 2 hot tubs at the main pool?

We don’t know the exact date, other than, “early September.”
From the official WDW website: “From early September through late November 2014, the Silver Creek Springs pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be closed for enhancement. However, you can still dip your toes in the Hidden Springs Quiet pool, which will remain open throughout the duration of the refurbishment.”

Elsewhere they’ve said September 3 until November 28th, including when I phoned the resort directly. What are the chances they’ll be done early? Our trip is November 16th-23rd. Any chance they would do the main pool first then open it back up while they complete hot tubs and geyser??? Looking for stories from other past refurbs on WDW pools.
I’d keep an eye here - it’s a WL fan site. @Neverlandian - Guests will be able to use pools at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness.

Thanks! Not sure what we will do. It’s such a beautiful resort but major construction out your window would sure mess up the view! Planning on havin the grandparents with us this trip, and they don’t get to go very often.
