Interesting. I absolutely love the Bourne show. Why do you consider it “laughable”? (Off topic, I know.)

I think it was probably down to it being “oversold”. Quite a few reviewers really liked it (TPs own rating was 4* I think) and when I finally saw it just didn’t work for me. Punches and kicks missed by miles. Sound effects late/early. And then when they are supposed to be doing stunts they have to start putting on safety harnesses. It was all rather amateur. I quite liked the tech though. Moving vehicles and screens etc. I love the Indy one at DHS (other than stooge bit) which has similar issues. They don’t make them wear harnesses and I guess they cover the punches and kicks by leaning in to the whole behind the scenes thing.
Oh, interesting. See, I’ve seen in twice, and didn’t experience any of those. While they used safety harnesses (as they should), I never saw them put them on. The timing for the punches and sound effects was impeccable. So, perhaps you got a cast that was off their game, or maybe in training.
Yeah must have. It’d been open a few years before we saw it but was just thought it was a bit lame. I can’t really remember the differences but they don’t use harnesses for the ladder and building jumps during Indy - but that’s probably coz they have airbags which it doesn’t look like they can do in Bourne.
