Which park to visit each day in September?

Hey everyone! We haven’t been to Disney since 2013 so we feel like first timers again. We are also going with families that have never been. I’m a planner so trying to plan out my park days to get a rough idea. Our dates are September 27 through October 4th. We head home on the 4th.

Assuming MNSSHP days are the same as last year, I’ve factored that in. We are wanting to do the party either on Tuesday or Friday. Which do you think is better?

This is our plan right now. So far, I have us going to the party on Friday night. If we do the party Tuesday night, we were planning on a rest day on Wednesday. We will not be going to a park on the day we do the party.

Saturday, September 27th - Arrival
Sunday, September 28th- AK
Monday, September 29th - MK
Tuesday, September 30th - Rest Day
Wednesday, October 1st- HS
Thursday, October 2nd- Epcot
Friday, October 3rd- MNSSHP
Saturday, October 4th - Head Home

Anything you would change? Would it be better to do certain parks on different days?

One thing I might consider doing is move your MK day to Tuesday (and potentially move your HS day to Monday, making Wednesday your rest day). Reason? Crowds are generally lowest at MK during the day of a party due to the shorter park hours. As a result, the days before and after a party day will have larger crowds.

Other than that, which day you go to which park is probably negligible.

I agree about going to MK on a party day, but assuming Sunday Sept 28 is a party day (Sundays usually are), I would go to MK on Sunday September 28 and AK on Monday September 29 so you could keep your Tuesday Rest Day and Wednesday HS day. Why? … if you decide to purchase LLMP, you will have a better selection at HS (the toughest park to book LLs) with it being further out from your LL booking date. If you are off-site and booking LL at 3 days out (instead of th 7 days out for on-site), then I’d flip your EP and HS days to push HS out even further.
