Across the top of my screen I see the T and touringplans.com sign and then on the far right I see a magnifying glass, 3 lines, and a green circle with S (for swim95navy) I assume. The S in the circle will pop up with little numbers which look like threads I have responded to but I don’t see anywhere where my private messages are.

I haven’t poked around this site much but when I click on my red “R” (so your green S"), there’s a little envelope icon at the top right of the menu that comes up (above the list of threads you’re following/responding to). It’s sandwiched between a cog (settings) and a bookmark. That envelope took me to my private messages.
