What do you do if your waitlist doesn't go through?

We are having an issue with DVC rooms as well. We booked one room last Friday for my husband, myself, and our son for his birthday. We were then trying today to book a room for my in-laws today and two of the dates are not available. Which is better?

  1. Wait list the full week for them?
  2. Wait list the two days we need for them?
  3. Book a different week?

I don’t know if you have this sorted out by now- but your choices are
-Make 2 wait lists(full week and 2 days)
-see if they have accommodations for cash
-book a near by hotel that has availability
-move trip(last resort)
