Well, what started out as a drive to the airport has turned into an ordeal. Vehicle broke down after getting gas (check engine light flashing uh oh). We’re on the outskirts of Lexington, got a hotel day room for DH and DD to get a few more hours of sleep. Flight already missed. So waiting for autoshops to open, see what the damage is. Then possibly rent a vehicle and drive if need be. Gonna be a long day.

Waiting on a tow truck to get it into the shop 10 miles away. Hoping just a cylinder misfire and they have parts.

Holy cow, wheel come off, I’d be scared to drive again. Hopefully we’ll make it late tonight or tomorrow. May call in a bit to make sure they don’t give room away. If this isn’t a 10k kinda expense lol

Fingers crossed it isn’t a wrong gas in the wrong tanks situation with the gas station.

I triple checked receipt first thing lol, correct gas. Bad ignition coil causing a misfire. The local Firestone center was able to get us repaired and back on the road now. We’ll be stopping somewhere south of Atlanta once sunsets, then back on the road to hopefully make it to Disney mid day Sunday. New experience for me: ubering around Georgetown KY. Actually very pretty and relaxing place we may have to PLAN a visit to sometime.
