WDW Christmas

And I’m 2250ish lighter. But we’ve got ours too. No wait at all

The price increase in the MK parties over the past 25 years is astounding. My first party was the Christmas Party in 2002. Without doing the math, I’d guess the rate of increase on those tickets is higher than most other WDW costs.

I’m guessing you’re right. Probably demand has increased as well, since they keep selling out for these parties. So, it probably shouldn’t be a surprised. (But that isn’t terribly consoling for my pocketbook! ) Fortunately, I had already “paid for” the party because I had purchased discounted Disney Gift Cards enough to pay for all of our upcoming trip, PLUS our DVC annual dues.

Yup, give us something new at the party, maybe I will return

Each year there is at least one new combination of sugar and fat with a festive, decorative exterior.

I thought The Grand Floridian wasn’t doing a gingerbread house this year…

When we buy tickets, if I opt for physical tickets, can those be put in MDE just like regular digital tickets?

If I remember right, when you buy tickets while logged into MDE, you select who you are buying tickets for and it assigns them to your people right away. You can have cards mailed to you, and you will be able to tell by the number on them which card is assigned to each person. Nothing you need to do!

If you buy from a third party reseller, such as Undercover Tourist, you can enter the tickets into MDE later. I don’t recall if you are also given a Confirmation number. If you are, you can just use that immediately in MDE, at which point it will ask you to assign who the tickets are for.

Thank you!!

Jennifer, we definitely want to do CP and listen to all the storytellers. We’ve never been at Christmas time. Do you think we should plan on 2 days for Epcot?

I reliazed it hasn’t been mentioned here that the discount ticket broker Unlocked Magic has 10% off Jollywood and MVMCP tickets.

Epcot is always at least a 2 day park for us. At Christmastime, even moreso. So I would definitely allocate 2 days if you have the time.

Yes very much so. You probably won’t be able to see them all in one day.

I think you’d need two days for sure to see all the storytellers and CP. We rope dropped one day so we could hit rides (Living with the Land is a MUST DO during the holidays. Dusk or nighttime ride is best.) and saw a couple of storytellers that first day, got a few cookies, and hit food some food booths. The second Epcot day we entered the park around 11:00 and focused only on story tellers, cookies and food booths. The only thing we rode was Guardians the second day.

Thanks! That discount is better than the AP or DVC discount. That bugs me!

Yeah- me too! And I think they are good for all dates!

This is the first I had seen of this - Thank You @coloradoresident

This is a decent discount… like - enough that I am crunching numbers again.
If I give up a few TS I could add it back in without feeling gross. :stuck_out_tongue:
