Water Parks and Resort Pool question

Does anyone have an idea when/if the water parks will be opening? Last information I found was DFB on June 18th that some water park CMs were called back. Contemplating a day trip to Volcano Bay if they’re closed, or spending the day at the resort pool (Poly), but I already paid for the Disney water park tickets pre-COVID. Will Disney give me a refund if they’re still closed by our trip dates (August)?

Also, I heard some resort pools are requiring advance reservations due to capacity limits. Any truth to that?

There have been pools which reached capacity, I don’t know if they were taking reservations though.

I don’t see the water parks opening any time soon. I think you can get refunds from Guest Services.
