I signed up for Wait Magic, mostly to take advantage of pre booking movement.
It is incredibly complicated to set up-especially if you are managing extended family.
for managed users (ie minors) you must work in the web (not the app). No problem.
for connected users (like grandparents) however, you can only use the app. For my 80 year old mom, that means she has to download the app to her phone, and then I can help her navigate to get a linking code. She is not tech savvy. She lives 6 hours away.
As such I can’t really get this started till I see her in person just one day before departure day as I have to do this for her. I have access to her web MDE account no problem.
Apparently she already had an existing profile from a 2015 visit. I had to gain access to it to upload her Attractions UK tickets.
That was pretty easy. But getting into her app requires me to have her phone in my hand. I tried to walk her though this remotely. Sigh.
My 16 year son too, but he’s already set up in the MDE app and BG1. So that was a lower hurdle although I had to walk him through instructions as he’s at his dads this week.
Not so simple, so just get ducks in row ahead of time.
I thought I’d be doing everything from my MDE account so didn’t advance set up folks in my party when I had the chance earlier in the year.
