Hi all! My mom and I will be taking my niece and nephew to WDW for my nephews 4th birthday and first trip to the world.
I’m curious if there will be any issues with the two kids in regard to their MagicBands and tickets since their accounts are managed by their mother, who will not be traveling with us.
I’m assuming everything will be fine as long as those items are completely setup prior to travel through her account but I was hoping someone on here may have a definitive answer.

You’ll need to connect them as friends and family if you plan to book LLs for them.

Right we’re all connected already.
My kids are managed by me and only connected to my DH via friends and family. There’s never been an issue with him taking them into a park. I would just make sure their bands are linked before you leave.

Thanks @melcort10 , I figured it wouldn’t be an issue as long as we’re all linked up. Just trying to cover my bases before the trip and not get surprised when we get down there.

If it is your first time going with a 4 year old, just be aware that they often have trouble with the fingerprints. It’s usually easier for you to use theirs if you are going to be entering with them for this whole trip.
Thanks for mentioning that. We took my niece for her 4th birthday and now I can’t remember if she used her own fingerprint or my sisters
