Was just there and had zero complaints about the bus service.
Oh, Ok, thats good to hear. Weāve never stayed there personally, but i think my impression of the bus service was from some things Touring Plans staff has said about it over the years. However, I wasnt able to find any availability at CSR, outside of some of the higher end room options that are outside our budget, for the week weāve zeroed in on anyway.
Oh, actually there is some more affordable availability, i forgot to uncheck the special offer in the search and just look for standard room rates.
A lot of people donāt like that there are multiple stops. I did not find it to be problematic at all. In either direction. Tip: Casitas is the first stop, so we always got a seat on the way out, and we were back to our room quickly on the way back. And Casitas is not as far from the main building as one would think because of the bridges that allow you to go over the lake vs around. And itās so pretty! I was initially disappointed about being assigned to Casitas (we requested Cabanas) but in the end I loved it. Which happens so often that I almost donāt care about making a room request anymore. I still do, but I figure chances are good Iāll end up pleasantly surprised by whatever I get!
I have no info to help with your trip, but grateful to hear that you fared well throughout Helene. We are in Greenville area and have many friends doing weekly relief trips still.
A vacation is heavily endorsed after all of this!!
FWIW: If there isnāt great inventory for Values on Disneyās site in January on dates you want, there are non-hidden (refundable) Value deals for a good part of the month over on Priceline.
They tend to have missing days, though, so you might need to play around with a split stay for Sun-Wed, then another booking for end of week.
(They tend to be different room blocks, so sold out on Disney does not equal sold out over there.)
If you can string together something you need, the prices on PL seem to be close to Disneyās Early-2025 discount pricing, which is great. (Some nights down around $85!)
All things being equal and with Disney availability I would book directly with them, especially since I could use discounted gift cards to pay and save a little more $ - but if they donāt have your dates Priceline is fine if you can make it work.
(Just double check any booking you make over there is a refundable one - non-hiddens should be, but always pays to be paranoid. Or, at least my invisible friend tells me so, anyway.
Hereās a Sunday-wed with Sports for $99, e.g.
Oh man! That rate makes me want to just go hang out for a few days!
