Using fax hotel reservation vs. MyDisneyExperience Room Requests

I just did advanced check-in online via MyDisneyExperience for our upcoming trip in early July. We’re staying at Art of Animation. An option during the advanced check-in process was to “Add Room and Amenity Requests.” It gives you a series of options that one could select to help you to narrow down the type of room that one would receive.

My question is that if I’m already planning to utilize the “fax Disney room requests” feature through, should I simply leave these boxes unchecked and rely on the automated fax being sent with my specific requests?


Unless it has changed per @Len do online check in but do not make requests there if you are going to have the requests made by TP. If you make requests in both locations it can confuse the Disney people
