Oh, I get that… big groups have a harder time staying on those marks… they do, they need more space, but it was a single man alone behind me
I don’t get upset or feel uncomfortable about big groups, I give them extra space; I don’t get upset w/ little ones twirling about dancing etc. I get upset w/ those pushing the bounds and if I look at them and then the ground I’d love it if they would step off.
Thanks for the on the ground updates. So maybe the policy was put in place for people holding QS tables too long? And sounds like unspoken rule nothing changes in Table Service…
This is a good point.
We have a few people at our church who flat out refuse to wear masks, despite it being the rule. We are terribly uncomfortable and annoyed by this…but we have said nothing to them nor would they know because we also don’t think creating dissension about it will benefit anyone. So we just bite our tongues.
The other thing here and I feel the need to mention it because of the discourse above is that at this point some people have had C19 and some are vaccinated against it. I’m 100% for masks but also there are reports out saying that between those 2 facts that herd immunity will be reached by late spring. I know we aren’t there yet but we are close and you can never know another persons position without asking.
The link I was referring to: U.S. could reach herd immunity by late spring - News | UAB
I sure hope so. I have seen “experts” predict everything from late spring 2021 to late spring 2022. The truth is there are still too many unknowns like new variant spread, the potential “new” new variants, the vaccination rate, the number of those who elect to not get vaccinated, the timing of approval for vaccines for kids, and of course the unknown unknowns with this virus.
