These are the instructions on my ticket voucher…
Can I take this to the desk in the Cabana Bay lobby, or do I have to go to the park entrance?
What kind of ticket will I pick up? Will it be paper or plastic?

My ticket in September was paper/cardboard
I got it at the vacation planning desk in RPR lobby.
I just checked- ticket and resort key are still in my lanyard. Ticket is paper, resort card is plastic.
Ah, thanks for the correction. Maybe the plastic cards are only available at the parks ticketing services?
Shouldn’t be a problem for @Shmebulock , I’m sure she’s got lanyards with the zip seal. 
I’m actually hoping to be able to pick that up when I’m there ??
I’ve already made myself a couple of the lanyard straps, but I don’t have a pouch.

Generally you can find lanyards at resort stores and multiple other stores in CityWalk and the parks.
Just to circle back on why I had the picture of my ticket! When I picked up my ticket at the resort vacation planing desk a few years ago they told me to take a screen shot of my tickets. It did come in handy the my lanyard fell off on IOA. I was able to immediately replace my ticket with the screen shot of the lost ticket.
Have you ever seen the pouches sold separately?
I know people buy better quality ones online separately because some pouches that come with lanyards are too flimsy.
I believe they are selling the lanyards and pouches separately at the stores now. I was surprised by this because I always bought a lanyard with a pouch included but now they are almost always sold separately?
We were there last week and they only sold the lanyards and pouches separately.

I have burst open many of the pouches from the parks and they have always been willing to swap me for a new one. I guess selling them separately makes that easier to do.
If I were smarter, I would try harder to find one that doesn’t rip. I just get so optimistic with each new pouch that THIS one is gonna be the one that doesn’t rip!
I got a package of plastic pouches and lanyards from amazon for the price of a single pouch at UOR. They were super sturdy and lasted my whole trip plus a return visit, and are still in good shape to use next year.
