I mobile ordered from Jolly Holiday. I got the grilled cheese birra sandwich.
So much meat!! I would have preferred less and more cheese. It was a good value.
It was “just ok” though. It had the (good) flavor of a sloppy joe sandwich with the texture of a pulled meat BBQ sandwich.
I tried the Matterhorn macaroon! This lived up to the hype! I adore coconut and this delivered!
I’m almost to the temple room part of the queue. I have dreamed of seeing it!

I can’t wait to hear your reactions after. And hoping all the effects are up for the task of being fully operational for you.

This and a latte and a chair against the railing on the hub with the omnibus passing by the trees in bloom in the hub are all I need in life.

It’s definitely better than Dinosaur!
I think if I had ridden it in 2019 it would have been so cool. It was fun, but didn’t live up to my heighten expectations.
I have been on JC, Indy and I watched the Storytelling at the Royal Theater. I’m at Star Tours now.
The Storytelling was so cute!
I do feel my face is in my phone too much trying to use LLMP and adjusting my plans.
I may step away. I was so distracted I forgot to get my 3-D glasses at Star Tours

Welcome to the Best Coast!
You need to use the drops, they work amazingly. Without the drops (and using your TP only), you are going to end up very frustrated. Please listen to our advice, DLR is not WDW and you will be very disappointed if you try to follow that TP. They don’t really work and haven’t for many years. Take a deep breath and enjoy!

Thanks! I see that now…
Gonna start treating DL more like Universal…
I’ve started to go to “lands” and knocking out what is quickest.
Everything has a 40 - 60 minute wait now. I’m still ahead of my plan and have done everything I scheduled.
I’m stacking & modifying LLMP while in queue for Space Mt.
I went to the Single Rider entry, but it was crazy full. Decided to do standby so I don’t get anxious not knowing how long rhat would’ve been

I am playing the LLMP lottery now. I couldn’t get any LLMP when I wanted. I noticed Roger Rabbit has been down since I arrived.
I’ve got a LLMP set to start in 20 minutes. Hoping it converts into an “anything” pass

I won the LLMP lottery!
Also, how much longer is the Space Mt. queue from here? I’m in the middle of all the switchbacks
TP said it would be 40 minutes actual on a 60 minute posted wait.
It’s already been about 40 minutes

Oof. Probably at least 20 minutes. Once you get to the LL merge point it goes fast.

Yeah, it’s at least this much. It’s hard to say without seeing the full room and where you are in the switchbacks. I will say that most of the time when our first resistance is closer to the start of that room our wait is usually 35-45 min. But as Jeff said, it does go fast once the LL merges in. Which is where it has the fun hallways that contribute to the “space station” theming.

Thanks! That helps me with grabbing my next LLMP.

Hyperspace Mt. is a 1000 times better than traditional Space Mt. It shouldn’t go back!
The 60 minute posted was accurate!
I’m in ToonTown meeting characters before my MMRR LLMP (although the predicted waits for Mickey & Minnie were so off!!
)

In a good or bad way? I haven’t met them back there since my kids were very little. I do still walk thru the houses

I like how the queues for MMRR are different between the parks. Enjoy!!

In a bad way…Minnie was 60 posted versus 15 predicted… Mickey was 30 posted on a 10 minute posted. I could’ve done Mickey, but I’m not properly attired today!
@lolabear_la - Thanks for the drops reminder! I’ve gotten two very late night LLMP changed to right when I needed them.
The end of my night is almost stacked!

It’s been a good first “arrival day”. I was able to ride everything I planned and a little more!
Thanks to everyone for the LLMP help!
I’ve got lots of “first impressions”, but not enough time now to discuss.
I’m at Tiana’s for dinner. I got the jambalaya. I really liked it. It’s not the best cajun food in the world, but it’s above average for sure! For “theme park” food it was better than I hoped.

You’re so welcome!
Yay, glad your food experience has been decent so far. I do love more of the food on DCA overall, but for DL you’ve made some solid choices.
And the night is still fairly young for DL, so hopefully your last part of the night goes as smoothly as the rest of the day. You’ve hit so many highlights. And I’m so glad you got to see Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones be players on the stage, and everything else too.

Good morning!
Lots to discuss…
First, Disneyland reminds me of the first time I went to a foreign country where the people looked like me and spoke a similar language, but everything was just a little different!
I did manage to do everything on my TP, even if it was useless. I really feel like I should ask for my renewal from last week back.

I squeezed in the Star Wars Projection Show. I kinda liked it, but you really do need to be a true fan of SW to get the most from it. Plus, there were no fireworks. It would probably be better with those.
Had the most complete RotR ride ever! I thiught I had seen it all working before but I saw new things last night. When you go up the lift are there two ways to go? For the first time ever I went along the side of the AT-AT.
The Fairfield Inn is pretty nice, especially for the price ($150 / night) and location.
Has newly remodeled rooms. I was worried about noise from Harbor Blvd. They put me on a sude facing away from it. I didn’t hear anything.
I’m up and ready for the day…going to RD super early!
