Normally I would say that is no sweat! I love drop tower rides.
But ever since that incident at Fun Spot in Orlando I haven’t had the nerve to get on one.

This one has a clean record. I checked IAAPA & OSHA.
Sadly, that death was due to operator error.
The young person loading was too busy flirting with guests to notice he hadn’t properly checked that restraint.
I don’t usually watch videos of stuff like that, but I saw it almost “live” after it happened because it came across my feed that early next morning when I got to work. I saw it all before it got pulled.
I am so angry at that operator! I am a firm believer that theme park rides are completely safe.
You are supposed to get hours & hours of training. It is stressed that these “rides” are really pieces of heavy industrial equipment just like at a manufacturing plant that can mame & kill. It’s your duty to do the job right or someone might die.
Ok…I’ll get off my soapbox now!! 
I have time for 1 - 2 rides then I need to do my souvenir shopping.

I had read that this was the case but had not heard those particular details and it definitely lends more credence coming from you.
Still, it’s more an irrational response. When I think about going on the ride, I get plagued by visions of a mishap. Thankfully I don’t get that feeling from most other rides.

Well… I did it!!
It was fun once it was over! I would do it again, but would need a ride buddy.
I had to call DW and she talked to me all the way up to loading!!

I have zero regrets about not going to Trader Sam’s. I had so much fun at Knott’s. The park is as beautiful as Disney at night.
Lots of cool night rides.
I asked DD for souvenir ideas. Of course she picked the hardest thing to find. I walked to 4 stores asking team members. We finally found it at a carnival game that I had to win it to get it!!
When your kid really wants something and they’re such a good person then it’s not hard to go the extra mile!
I’ve left Knott’s, but still out having fun!
Trying the churro stand that all the locals love & was on Food Network.
It must be good because at nearly 11pm there’s a queue of at least 30 people in front of me!

The line moved pretty well! They had so many flavor options and a variety of traditional churro styles.
I went for “traditional” with caramel!
The only churros left to try are USH!

I’m so glad you fully enjoyed the day at Knott’s!
One of these years we’ll make it there. I have only been once and waaaayyyy before I had kids, I but really enjoyed it.
I am so super excited about the final churro review too. So far they have all looked so good!

Slept in, got my bags 100% packed and am picking up my rental car now.
I got to the rental and it wad CLOSED??
The sign says 7:30am opening, but there’s a small group waiting. They say a rep said they open at 9am. (My rental time anyway)
I’m glad I didn’t make the pick up time 8am!!!
I’m not on any schedule as I am there until 2am and have Express Passes.
I really don’t like the bank that runs the Universal Visa card, but it gives great rewards and points!

The drive to LA wasn’t too bad as I timed it to miss commuter traffic. It still took and hour ro drive 30 miles, but moved constantly.
I’m at USH. It’s like how I felt T DLR. It looks similar and evryone used the same language but it a little different!!
Bought a Coke Freestyle refillable cup.
These are at least twice as big as Knott’s.

I totally forgot to tell y’all that I almost left Anaheim without my luggage!
I was getting in the rental car and went to put my bags in the trunk. I suddenly realized they were still at the hotel. I’d left them right outside the front doors when I was waiting on my Uber! I just hopped in the car without my bags! (I was very tired!!)
I immediately called the hotel. The found them still right where I left them. WHEW!!

Just catching up with your report. So glad you enjoyed KNOTTS berry FARM. You totally made the right call by skipping Trader Sam’s. We went the other night and I thought it was nothing special, though @LTinNC82 said that was because of the early hour and the vibe picks up later. (You probably would’ve brought your own vibe.)

The day is going very smoothly. There aren’t quite as many stand alone Coke Freestyle machines as Orlando. Often you need to find an eatery.
The studio tour was great. I am a TV & movie lover… (I went to film school… That degree really came on handy as an adult!! 
)
I had a Nerd-gasam when we drove through the actual sets from The Good Place!
