How is the food? I understand the price is really for the show, but it would be nice if it’s a good meal too

I’ve had Cat 2 & Cat 3. Honestly I prefer the balcony to the back of the ground floor.
1 or 3 is probably the way I’d go in the future. Cat 2 in a pinch if that all that’s available
Food is decent. Polite Pig has best BBQ that I’ve tried on property. Sides & dessert are pretty good

I’m finally feeling close to 100%. No issues in a couple days! I’m out of shape from just sitting around and stuffing myself for 4 months though! I know “theme park adrenaline” will kick in and I’ll be fine getting around!

This is no joke!
Being lower activity for weeks prior to the cruise rendered me breathless with walks thru Walmart!
I’ve only this week felt myself almost normal and it’s been 14 weeks.

I’m all packed and leave for the airport in about an hour. With so many Liners at WDW at the same time I may not do a live TR. My arrival plans have already changed and I’m not going to the Cake Bake Shop late tonight.
I have had to try to make LLSP & LLMP reservations this week as an off-site guest. It hasn’t gone great.
I got the 1pm GotG ride on Friday and another ride on a different day, but not at the time I wanted.
I got none of the rides / times I wanted for LLMP, but will try the “refresh” game
RotR was sold out days in advance.
These are the obstacles that have kept me away for so long!

Hey!
I got in a little late due to a flight delay and all my Liner meet plans got canceled. So many people are sick at WDW!! 
I made a detour from Hoop Dee Do as my DD23 has never been to a dinner theater show and has begged to go to one. I’ve avoided Medieval Times and Pirates Dinner Adventure as everyone says the food is awful. I’ve promised to take her to HDD on the next Universal trip.
The hotel is good. It’s a Holiday Inn about 10 minutes from the parks. Clean, modern and newly refurbished. Comfortable beds, great hot water.
It’s an offical WDW Good Neighbor hoyel. It is $82 per night with all taxes and fees included through Expedia. My Uber rides are $20 - $25 each way with taxes and tip included. So… my $82 per night room is really $130.
If you can stay on-site for under $200 I probably would do that.
I did have bad neighbors with a dog that wouldn’t stop barking and the peoplewere up all night watch TV. I got no sleep. Around 5am I got up and complained to the front desk. They were apologetic and said if I had called doen they would’ve corrected the problem.
They moved me to a new room in a different section of the hotel. The room is an upgrade into a suite. It’s more space than I will use, but its real pretty!
Since I was already awake and moved everything into the new room, I decided to just stay up and take a shower.
I got on MDE at 6am, like I do at home, to get a TBA VQ. I totally forgot that I’m on Eastern time now and have to wait until 7am! 
Being off site does have some benefits. There’s multiple strip malls, fast food, walgreens, 24 hour restaurants and other conveniences that aren’t always easy to access or affordable while on-site.
I’m eating breakfast at McDonald’s with unlimited Diet Coke for $4!
I paid $14 for a Mickey Pretzel last night! 
Got my TBA VQ, but not fast enough to get it and GotG.
I’m about to get my Uber and head to MK!
