If I had any plans to be back at WDW after that date I would go 
exactly the same for me! I skipped TH this trip bc not a fan of the family style menu but was hopeful the buffet would be back in time bc we’ve always enjoyed that. Oh well. Next time maybe.
It is actually our departure day. We have a park reservation for MK that morning. I was so hoping that it would happen in October, so close…
I was hoping it would be back by our Dec. trip. The family style reviews I had read weren’t great so was planning to skip it.

I am assuming that it will be on the Disney Dining part of the website. Not up yet as I understand.
