Very cool. Although…I didn’t like hearing one phrase in that…“several months later.” Several months. Wonder what that means in actual time.

Yeah, I wonder when an opening date will be announced. For now I am planning our trip for May 2023. I feel that should be more than enough time… but it’s a complex ride. Entering Phase 2 sounds like a good step though

That ride doesn’t look fully accessible however cool it seems

I don’t believe coasters have to be fully accessible. In fact, a great deal many are not. For example, many coaster require that the rider has at least one fully intact leg, for example (no prosthetics) in order for the restraint system to work properly.

Of course, the designers do their best to make it as accessible as possible…but it isn’t always possible.

Yeah I fully expect I won’t be able to ride it unfortunately.

Oh I had not considered prosthetics. That makes sense.

That all depends on how many phases there are really :grimacing::rofl::rofl:

It looks awesome!!! I’m going to be channeling my inner Jeff Bridges when I ride that.
I’ve never seen the new movie. Is it any good?

Yes. But I would say it is probably polarizing. I felt that, on the whole, it was well done, but ultimately didn’t like the direction they took with certain plotlines.

Small little factoid…I actually plotted out a sequel to Tron myself years ago, and even toyed with the idea of getting Disney to consider the idea. I realized that was never gonna happen, so bailed on the idea…but truth be told, I liked my version better than what they created.

I thought the new movie was entertaining. Certainly worth a watch before riding the new coaster. My husband would probably say the original Tron was better. He’s the big Tron fan. I think the coaster just looks fast and fun!

I liked the original Tron better but didn’t mind the new one.

To compare, using Star Wars: really really really liked Episode 4 now called a New Hope, aka the first one.
Next movie - detested it. Disappointed. Did nothing for me.
The next movie with Yoda and the Ewoks, much better than the Empire strikes back but not as good as the first one.

(Next 3 movies - :scream:)

My lesson learned: I’m a popcorn movie kinda human. :sunglasses:

Um. ESB is the best of ALL the Star Wars movies. This is a fact, not opinion.

Along these lines, I’m still waiting to find out what Ursula wanted with the sister in your story and whether the brother escapes Captain Hook…. How’s that coming along???!!

Ha! I have been too busy to focus on writing anything. You would have to open that wound, wouldn’t you!

:joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::rofl::blush::smiley::joy::rofl::joy::rofl:

We might agree about Ewoks, tho.

Yes. Indeed. The next movie did, indeed, have Ewoks. I agree.

Totally unnecessary. Cuteness has no place in a popcorn movie.

Not entirely true. Being an Ewok is what launched Warwick Davis’ career!!! Can you imagine if George Lucas had put, I don’t know, Gungans instead? Who knows where Warwick would have ended up! Instead he’s been in like 90 movies/tv shows!

(But as plotlines go, having the Empire taken down by a bunch of teddy bears was a bit…ridiculous.)

But Willow!!!

It’s true Ewoks came first.
Also true Warwick was an actor before Lucas.

ROTJ was Warwick’s first film credit, ever. He was only 13 when ROTJ came out!
