TP Website Redesign - Create a Touring Plan

Are breaks limited to 120 minutes? I don’t remember if that’s how it used to be or not. I don’t think so but am not sure. It would be nice to be able to do at least 4 hour breaks.

I think we had up to 4 hours. Let me add that to the list.

Thanks.

I completely despise the website redesign. It might be better for mobile users (I wouldn’t know as I would never use a site like this on a mobile device), but that has certainly been at the detriment of desktop users. I HATE the new layout for touring plans. It’s distracting and difficult to see the information. Everything is huge and the layout is clunky. The old design may not have “looked” modern, but at least it was sleek and functional! I’m not going to be renewing my subscriptions due to this change. It’s just not usable for me anymore.

I appreciate the feedback, @jdnn. Thank you, and good luck.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you stick around the forum (and chat). Although the website and all the tools TP offer are valuable, the forum and chat community are priceless.

When viewing my touring plans on the new site, I do not see the step locations on the map. Guessing that’s on the to-do list.

Oh good. Glad it wasn’t just me! Also, they have not fixed the breaks only being 120 minutes. Nor the spinning forever when optimizing or evaluating. I just hit reload and that usually fixes it but it gets annoying.

Oh and Jollywood is still not available as of last night.

Yes! I thought that was so strange.

I didn’t realize it was launched already. Bettter get fixn!

It launched last week. This is the “fixed” version. Honestly I feel like a beta tester. I just want a functional site so I can plan. I’m trying to be positive but this is wearing thin.

OK, I just refreshed and the steps on the map popped up

Ok good. I’ll check that out. I wasn’t going to saying anything until I saw your comment because I afraid I might have experienced that when updates were happening or something. :woman_shrugging:

I’m annoyed because I have time today to work on my plan. But of course it’s just past the date of WDW’s released hours and TP estimates a 10am Epcot opening and it won’t let me change the start time to 9am. Boo.

Yeah. Last I checked the DAS times weren’t updated to allow for the early start times, it’s on the list.

I have not read through this thread–so apologies if this has already been covered or if this is the wrong place to ask. I have two questions regarding the website redesign:

  1. How do I get to all of my customized touring plans? For upcoming trips, I see that there are links to plans that overlap those days, but there used to be a full list of all of my customized plans (including historical plans)–how do I find those?

  2. When I go to the crowd calendar details for a specific park and then click on a specific ride, there are helpful charts showing the expected Genie+ availability for that ride for that day. Is there a way to see expected G+ availability for all rides in a particular park for a day?

Thanks!!

To find and manage your plans: from the dashboard expand your profile

For number one, go to your Dashboard, click “Show” and then Manage My Plans.

The best I’ve seen is Thrill Data’s historical data. You can use this to view a recent day’s info that is similar to your future visit’s forecasted crowd level.

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks. Maybe I’m alone on this, but I hate using thrill data. The pop-up’s — even on my laptop rather than my phone— make it so difficult to see the main screens. I love the TP blog tables from their “How has Genie+ Availability Changed?” article but that was last updated in February (when Splash was still open). When I found the G+ availability chart for a specific attraction in the new website, it was such a hidden gem. It would be great to be able to access that more easily for various rides.
