First, I adore the TP software. It makes it so easy to plan a trip, decide when and where to eat, book ADRs, see shows, etc. It’s especially making a Holiday Festival EP plan doable (with figuring out how to line up seeing a few of the story tellers and other regular shows without doubling back a thousand times around the park).
Second, I do have a few suggestions for the TP software. To whom should I share?
And yes, I realize I am doing TPs very early (!)…and know I will have to update them again much closer to our trip.
Feedback:
- in EP touring plans, it doesn’t allow you to book both an ILL Guardians and a VQ Guardians. It says you can only have max of 1 Guardians in your plan, and you must remove anything over 1 for it to evaluate or optimize the plan. Potential solution: provide an override button or just remove the restriction and keep the warning. For EEH days, it should allow up to 3, no?
The below are observations for Thanksgiving week, but likely apply to the entire MMVMCP season.

the predicted park times for Thanksgiving week 2025 aren’t in line with the past 2 years (i.e. MK park open on party days has consistently been 8am vs. 9am in TP). I know they haven’t released times, but if we are using the past to predict the future, it would be great to see these updated.

the predicted party days for thanksgiving week at MK (Sun, Tues, Wed, Fri) and HS (Mon, Sat) also aren’t forecasted, even though they have also been pretty consistent year over year, most especially thanksgiving week.

the predicted AK EEH day (Wednesdays during party season) (and hours), are also not in line with 2024 actuals.
Anyway, none of this is urgent (obviously, ha ha), but I tend to furiously focus on planning, and then set aside for months and months, so won’t come back to this likely till 90 days out or so before I book ADRs.

This is definitely something new. I’ve had 2 in my plans before.
I’m wondering if it has something to do with me copying the plans I created awhile back.

Was that in the days of G+ rather than LL?
I remember there were problems with the software and inputting G+ times at the beginning.

Hmm. Good question. I will go back and look at my posts to see when I did it. I bet I created them before the change. I’ll just live with the glitch, lol if the alternative is to recreate from scratch. My EP ones were the most complicated, especially World Showcase/Holiday Festival.

I did a mock plan for November and got the same message!
This is newish. I can’t recall the last time I had 2 on a plan but I know it wasn’t that long ago. Definitely in 2024. It is possible it was pre LLMP and in Genie+ days. Not sure why that should matter.
I even went in and saved a SP time. Tried refreshing… No dice. Definitely a glitch. For now I would put a place holder as Mission Space or Spaceship Earth as the SP until it’s fixed. This should roughly be the same. Mission Space would be preferred. You just want an experience time around 25 mins with wait for SP.
Yes. That’s the message. Not a dealbreaker, as I just left the VQ in for time mgt purposes, and allotted the avg. ILL time as a ‘break’. And who knows if VQ will even still be in place this November. But, nevertheless, a glitch.
