A sign in the square between Disneyland and California adventure this evening said that Tomorrowland will be closed after 5pm on Saturday May 9, 2015 for a “special event.” A quick google search reveals that the Tomorrowland film will be premiered at the theatre in downtown disney that day, and Tomorrowland itself has been booked as the after party.
So on the one hand, too bad if you wanted to go to space mountain that night. On the other hand, you might see George Clooney on Main Street.
Does anyone know whether the closure is reflected in the optimizer? We were planning on doing tomorrowland Saturday, by chance.
