It is. My bank refused the second hold on the afternoon of our first full day and we couldn’t use magic bands to pay for anything

It never has been. It really only makes financial sense if you buy the most expensive meals on the plan, or find the pricey 1 TS character buffets.

The dining plan was free for me with this summers package deal, so I can’t really lose here. Plus, I love character meals and to do the fantastic package every trip, so it tends to be worth it.

On past trips its been easy and usually quick to get a room charge printout each evening
This was back when we were traveling with extended family, all with plenty of questions.
Room printouts helped.
