This particular subject wasn’t covered in the FAQs. I was considering the possibility of taking one of the horse-drawn carriage rides at POR. Would it be necessary/appropriate to tip the driver on top of the $45-$70 that I’d be paying for the ride?
Off hand, I’d say yes. Ask Guest Services, and they should be able to give you the correct answer.
I googled this just the other day as part of my planning. I read they had “no Tipping” signs.
The carriage we rode at POR had a no tipping sign.
