What are the chances that we could fly into Sanford on Christmas Day, land at about 1:30, pick up the rental car and get to a 3:20 reservation at Crystal Palace? Not doable?

That would be suuuuuuuuuuuper tight.
The drive alone will take a solid 45 mins, and that’s just to TTC where you’ll have to ferry or monorail over to MK (after tramming from your parking spot).
Plus you need to factor in deplaning (landing doesn’t mean you’re off the plane at 1:30), making your way to bag claim, waiting on your bags, and then securing the rental car.

That said, you can show up for a reservation late and most times they will work you in (you’ll probably have to wait a bit). I don’t know as that will be true on a day like Christmas Day, though, when you’re at the absolute peakiest peak of crowds ever.
Keep checking for something later. Even 4:20 would be better.

Piggy backing on this… We were at Disney last year from the 19th through the 26yh. The absolute worst crowds were when we got to MK just as the Christmas parade was about to start. We had to make our way back to BTMRR and it was a disaster. Main Street was totally gridlocked. I am not sure what time the parades will be that day but that definitely impacts the flow of people on Main Street!

I doubt it. You would barely make it as is but if there is any delay with the flight or luggage you won’t. O don’t like having a busy first day either.

I neglected to mention the stress piece of this whole thing. That doesn’t feel like a magical way to start.

Could you try to modify your reservation to a 4 ppm or so reservation?
