Time change for Magic Kingdom in February?

Our first day at the Magic Kingdom will be Thursday, 2/25. I swear the park was supposed to open at 9:00a that day, so I booked Chef Mickey for 7:05a so we could make rope drop. The other day I looked and the park is opening at 8:00a (not EMH.)

I could have been wrong about the time. Although I know park times can change, I was a little disappointed because we won’t make RD that day.

But is that unusual for it to change like that?

I think they are subject to change any time, even the same day. I think there have been cases where they’ll wind up deciding to stay open later than originally scheduled because it wound up being more crowded that expected.
