Definitely more intense than Dumbo (or any of the other spinners in WDW). I think it’s kind of fun and does give you some cool views, but I wouldn’t wait more than 10 or 15 minutes to ride it.

This does raise a thought. The wait for the ride can be misleading. It is generally a very slow-moving line. And when you finally get your chance to squeeze into that little elevator, you probably still have another 10 minutes to go since there is more waiting up top.
AO is iconic, for sure. But I do agree that the wait really needs to be quite short to be worth it.
