Through Autoslash, I am able to reserve a car I can return after Alamo closes at 4 PM. I am told to park the car and return the keys to the lock box in the lobby of the hotel. I am renting from Alamo at the Four Point by Sheraton on International Drive.
Anyone have thoughts on returning a rental car after hours like this? Thanks!
Just the obvious one to make sure you take a really good video of the condition of the vehicle, including petrol gauges.
And keep a copy of the petrol receipt, mine wanted that.
It also helps if you are a frequent renter or in their “club” / rewards system. I’m a former business traveler. They tend to be more willing to work with you if they know you are coming back.
Okay, I have to dig out my Alamo Rapid Rewards Number from somewhere!
