Something just occurred to me. It’s one month until the new edition ships (at least if you ordered through B&N). Is there going to be any kind of product recall since G+ was canceled out of nowhere? Or maybe there will be some kind of delay to the Disneyland edition to accommodate

Not likely. There will always be changes that happen too late for the new edition. We knew G+ was slated for major changes so I’m sure the authors added a lot of caveats to that effect.
