Idk what I was thinking really…but I think it was something like I would expect most people to plan to rope drop GOTG whereas it used to be Remy or Test Track, perhaps Frozen. I wasn’t really considering entry point.
If you have two littles at ages 4 and 6 they may be far more interested in Frozen than Guardians….. LOL
I had them…once. Doubtless that would be true.
I totally agree here. Not everyone wants to be stressed about a drop. If it’s a priority I would book it as well.
Since you can get this with a SP, my personal strategy, if RDing and entering from IG, would be to SP GotG so I didn’t have to compete with the main gate crowds. I’d defiantly be behind the pack on that one. And then MP TT or FEA. Remy would be my RD ride. This would secure 3 out of the 4 headliners. We usually skip FEA though. #TeamMaelstrom
The other aspect of this is that availability for Tiana’s is generally pretty good, although that could change when it gets hot again.
LOL I am staying at AKL so will be entering at main entrance, not IGW. I plan to get LLSP for Guardians. I am trying to figure out which to rope drop and for which to try to get LLMP. It sounds like I should get LL for Remy’s and RD/EE Test Track? I also have young adults with me who may thwart the rope drop plans…seems quite likely not to be at the very front of the line at least. At the Studios it sounds like we should get Slinky Dog and Toy Story and rope drop MMRR? We hope to do Smugglers and Star Tours, but maybe not TOT.
MK is the hardest. Is it easier to rope drop Space or Peter Pan? Is it likely we’d be able to get ll later for Tiana’s? I imagine I am overthinking all of this, but that’s what I do. I really appreciate all the input from those who have been recently!
my last experience was before Tiana and the changes but I always found it easier to pick up a LL for Space later in the day than to find one for PP. So, between those two I would lean towards RD PP.
But I will defer to others with more recent experience….
If you don’t make it in time for RD and TT already has a bit of a wait, you can always do Single Rider (which should be very short in the morning).
I like doing this, SDD rope drop is very competitve (and a long walk from the taps) and it’s just nice not having to compete with that first thing in the morning, but strolling to MMRR instead. Smugglers may still be a relatively low wait right after that even without a LL. There’s a Single Rider lane for Smugglers, but I only like using that one when genuinely solo as the ride is so much more fun with your group than with strangers.
I’d say they are about the same at rope drop (not incredibly competitive but popular enough to build wait times before EE is over), but agree with @gamusicman that LL availability for Space and also TBA usually seems better than for PP. Overall LL availability in MK generally feels better than other parks because there are so many more rides to chooose from!
I agree with this based on my trip a few months ago (and prior trips).
Help! I want to help my niece and her family with their LL prebookings and on the day of. She invited me to her friends and family list. I accepted. She has “shared her plans” option on. I only see her, not the rest of her family. What else should we do?
I think everyone has to friend you - but I may be wrong
Is this one of the times you need at least one shared plan? They have to make a fake ADR and add you to that booking ? You cancel it after the trip?
Oh I will do that.
There is also a setting that she has to click to allow you to make and modify plans for others she controls (usually minors)
Thank you
We cannot see this option. We can see the option for the photos but nothing after that.
Perhaps because I connected with everyone, including the kids
This option only on website not app
It would be an option your niece has to find on her end. Typically for her kids where she manages their accounts… but if you are directly linked to all the individuals, then it might not matter.
Would they trust you to log in with your niece’s account? If you’re not getting things easily set up in your account, that would be the route I would take.
