Updated. Also, while I was up there, I noticed these stats:

40K+ views for this thread! :scream: I don’t know if anything I’ve ever written has been read that many times. (of course that counts repeat visits and all posts).

Not sure if this is Advanced or not (@Jeff_AZ maybe can let me know if I should move the question?):

If I get a FoP LLSP for 5pm with regular close of 6pm and EEH until 8 (i.e. the latest LLSP allowed), but we don’t get there until after 6 / during EEH, will they still allow use of the lightning lane? In other words, does the grace period extend into EEH?

Even though EEH often means a shorter wait, the TP I created estimates over an hour, and I’m not sure I want to gamble on it being wrong (I haven’t checked ThrillData yet).

(This will be Weds 12/18, to be precise.)

I haven’t heard much about that at AK specifically. I’m pretty sure though that they turn over the LL at park closing so you have to have an EEH-specific VQ (for GotG or TBA) or standby after that time.

That’s my guess as well. Maybe I was just being hopeful. :potted_plant:

I’m 99% sure the answer is that you would need to enter the LL prior to 6:00 pm (the start of Extended Evening Hours). It would be strange if WDW had a LL grace period extend past normal park closing time whether for an MK or HS party, DAH or EEH.

I am sure you already did, but if not make sure you check the park hours. Animal Kingdom has many days where it closes at 7 pm in December, meaning EEH is 7-9 pm.

For 12/18 Wednesday, park hours are indeed 8-6pm and Ak has EEH 6-8pm

Can you get a VQ for GotG at 7AM, ride it in the morning, then hop to MK and get a VQ for TBA at 1pm?

Yes you can. As long as you have 1) used your 7am VQ and 2) entered MK by the time you are applying for the 1pm VQ.

In other words, you can’t hold a VQ for two rides at the same time, and you can’t join the 1pm VQ for a park that you haven’t tapped into that day yet.

Your trip is coming up, right? I think we talked about it when I saw you in NY. My memory is fuzzy.

Hello everyone! Newbie from Spain traveling to WDW in 6 days. I’ve planned everything with TP, and it looks like I had a plan… Until LLMP. Now I’m not quite sure what would be the best strategy to use Early Entry + TP + LLMP.
Do I include the rides I wanna ride on my plan even if later I’m planning on getting them with LLMP?
How could I no duplicate rides?
Any strategy or tip to arrange my days at WDW would be amazing. Thank you all and have a magical day !

Sometimes I do this. Plan out what I would do assuming I’m unable to get any LLs. Then if I do get one, I will have a buffer. You just check it off your list and move everything up! TP lets you do this pretty easily on the day of by Evaluating after checking off an item.

Yep, spring break trip planned. LLMP is a new ball game for me, so I’m studying up now

Jeff’s post 1 was a great place to start.
