It is if you were trying to download bootleg movies off of Kodi a decade ago ![]()
Iām 7 days out from our trip and I booked all my LLs this morning right at 7am.
For Friday, I was not able to book a 9am return time so I am stuck w/ two Tier 2 afternoon time slots for ToT and TSM which is not ideal. That said, we want to ride each of these rides to I am hesitant to book a ride like Star Tours at 9am and risk not getting on ToT or TSM later in the day even if it means waiting in line for RnR or MFSR.
The weird thing about Friday is it is giving me literally zero flexibility in moving any of the return times even though there are earlier ones available. It wonāt even let me overlap with other rides or my dining reservation by even 5 minutes. Iām curious if anyone else has experienced this.
The following day, I have Tron and Tomorrowland Speedway 15 min apart somehow but for Friday there is literally no overlap allowed. I also have a ton of LLMP overlap Sunday at Epcot. Also Sat afternoon I tried to modify TBA and it wonāt let me overlap w/ a dining res.
Is this unusual?
When this happens, try canceling and rebooking. Also try using BG1 if you have loaded that (see the BG1 thread in the La Cava section of the forum).
Thatās because a single pass LL has no link to the multi pass LLs. So you can overlap those without any restrictions.
Thanks everyone for the replies. That is helpful. The other thing I was considering is moving times of rides and taking advantage of the grace period. Is the unofficial grace period still 119 min after the return window?
It has been, but with AllEars advertising it, it could change at any time.
Just book at least 1 rides (can be throwaway) for park open each day to unlock the tiers. Like today we did Frozen Sing Along at 9 am. We tapped and walked away so I could immediately book ToT and RnRC. (Already had MMRR for 9:15). I never bothered booking more than 1 ride, I just waited until after I used the first because I never got good times for Tier 2ās I would go on. (Or per above, I booked a throwaway Tier 2)
ā¦we still went to Frozen, but we use standby and enter 3 mins before the show ![]()
At this point, Iād be hesitant to rely on a HS plan like this for an October, November, or December trip until we learn more about LL availability during more crowded times. This plan may work well in September, but Iām not confident it will play out the same way when crowds are higher.
I had the same thought. I would advise people to get the the LLs they want most just in case they arenāt able to play the slots as successfully. Itās definitely better to get them as early in the day as possible, but not at the expense of potentially not locking in your highest priority rides.
I liken it to back in FP days where I would just burn off at least one of the 3, to get to the 4th and not be locked to tiers. Back then I recall always doing it at B&TB
At least now you can unlock the tiers as soon as you use the first one, so much easier to book the next ones.
I am certainly here at low season, so that does have advantages - even in that we have not used MPLL every day. I booked it for tomorrow so we could get Remy ā¦then happened to be able to get Remy on standby today - it had been down, and we just happened to be in the area using the washroom after going to Les Halles - so it was a posted 20 min wait - it was 7 mins ā¦and easily 40 mins when we exited the ride. Of course MPLL has no refund, so weāll still go use it tomorrow as we plan to go to Shiki-Sai for lunch.
I think āchurn and burnā is a perfectly valid approach any time of year for people who know the advanced strategies. I hesitate to recommend that here though because this is the basic thread and Iām not sure how familiar a visitor to this page is with advanced strategies.
Using LLMP with 12 people⦠is it a horrible idea for me to be the only one to book everything the whole day?. All parties said they do not want to split up. And im afraid if we break into smaller groups we wont get the same time for attractions. Ive also read thay occasionally booking 12 doesnt work.
Given your fact pattern, I would go forward with booking for your group. If itās more important for your peace of mind for you to be together and have the same LL return windows, thatās the only way to guarantee it. You might miss out on certain drops of same-day availability, but the alternative would be to split up, and it sounds like you donāt want to do that.

Anyone have experience with a half onsite/ half offsite trip? Trying to figure out how it will affect my LL selection day. We will have 9 day date based tickets, but only be on site for the first 3. So if our dates are as follows:
5/31 - check in day (and technically shown as 1st day of date based ticket)
6/1 - first park day
6/5 - check out day
6/6 - first park day off site.
7 days prior to check in would be LLMP selection day for the 3 park days on site (5/24)
But for the remaining park days, would selection day be 3 days before my first off-site park day or 3 days before the entire 9-date based?
You will be able to select LLMP for your check-in day through your length of stay, including check-out day, 7 days before check-in (5/24 at 7am). You will be able to book your remaining LLMP days starting three days before the first day your ticket is eligible for (5/28 at 7am).
So technically you have at least 7 days before every day of your ticket. Not bad. ![]()
I thought I would post this information about refunds here in case it might help someone else.
We have an upcoming trip and can now book Lightning Lanes in advance. We intend to go, but, as you know, things can come up. You never know if you might need to cancel unexpectedly. So, I was concerned that Disney says LLs are nonrefundable.
I did a chat on the WDW website and was told that they could not guarantee a refund but that it was possible. They take such requests on a case-by-case basis. They also said they could apply the LLs to a future trip if necessary.
If you buy the multi pass LL on the day of your visit, obviously you may well miss out on certain rides. But can you still see available times before you buy? In other words, do you still get to book 3 attractions when purchasing?
I believe the answer is yes, but Iāve never purchased on the day of so canāt say for sure. I have no reason to believe the process is any different though.
Thatās what I assumed too. But I saw someone suggest otherwise. ![]()
Huh Iāll keep an eye out for info on that.
There were some people who bought LLMP on the first day it was offered for trips that were already in progress. If any of them see this it would be helpful to share your experience if you recall. ie was the process different for the current day vs future days.
