Sorry we are so protective of our diligently mined data.
Here is the link youâre looking for â read the whole first post, itâs under a drop-down arrow in there. As was mentioned, if you canât access this, it may be because you havenât posted enough on the forum yet, but keep trying. ![]()
Sorry I missed this earlier. Didnât mean to circumvent moderation.
I edited your post (sorry). I deleted another post with that same link earlier, and I PMâd the thread.
I might be wrong but I donât think a basic user can see LaCava? I have suggested logging out and then logging back in.
We have not posted links to LaCava on chat so I donât think we should do it in the public areas of the forum? OR we should allow it there.
Ummm. That private link has been at the top of this public OP for 11 months.
I thought you need a paid subscription to access chat???
No worries - I think that is good practice.
Sorry @Anthonyjohn726_874585! If you log back in and can find the âLa Cavaâ section of the homepage, it is at the bottom when you first log in. Once you click into this section, you will see pinned posts that include the âAdvanced Genieâ thread you are looking for.

So everything is public and links should be posted on chat?
Is chat public? Meaning anyone can access it?
Yup, just like this thread.
How does a regular Joe access chat?
Through the app. I downloaded the app years before I was a subscriber.
But you need to login to Lines to access anything I thought. You need to create an account right?
Here or on the app? This thread does not require a log in to read? Chat is public to read.
I believe both currently are fully accessible with free log ins? Chat is definitely accessible with some free memberships and all expired memberships.
I guess Iâm not getting anywhere. In any case, I support Jeffâs G+ Advanced Strategies thread link in the OP.
Then links should be posted in chat.
I would think the search term would be appropriate for the OP, not the link.
I fully understand that in a matter of weeks none of this will most likely matter but I will share the chat perspective : for years we fully shared and posted off links, tips, hints. @mikejs78 posted about the drops on chat. Then, all the bloggers published the times and people had to spend hours re-building the info. Since then we agreed to keep the info in LaCava. People ask all the time- everyday- for drop times on chat. They are told , âyou need to go to the homepage of this app, click the link to the forum, log in, get your trust level up, find LaCavaâŚâ frankly, that is shocking to long-time users.
Only LaCava
Thanks for the background. As I understand, it was the actual tips that were shared on chat that got the attention?
That seems to me that itâs the same as sharing the la cava link directly, no?
It shares with users on how to access. In theory, those directions would not work for anyone following them that does not have a log in here. For years only page one was accessible by all (old app) now it is all info.
I believe the long-time chat users thought that we were asked not to post links after the drops were published. I know that was my understanding.
Thanks for your patience with me ![]()
But clicking the link would not work if they donât have a login here. Or am I missing something?
I see your point but that does not change the fact that chat users thought when everything was moved to LaCava we were not to post direct links. If that changed, I am sure I am not the only person on chat that was unaware.
I think maybe someone else can start another thread and decide. I am uncomfortable changing something that some thought was requested. It is the only reason it has been in practice since drops were published.
If there is a change I believe many chat users would be thankful (it is what we have always done).
Ah, I understand.
Also, I just noticed that the Drops Thread link is also in the OP here. Itâs got over 1,800 clicks.
