Agree with that assessment. But buses would work from Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom, and AKL, so you would be able to go to and from those, right?

We won’t be at UOR until Dec so there is time. 
I just don’t want to miss them arriving and then not look for them when we are there. Olivanders is particularly not ECV friendly so after getting our real wands we haven’t been in except briefly.

Booo to no more VQ for GotG and TBA. Messed up my plans but pivoted and replanned Sigh.
Yay to new wands at UOR!!! Vincent Vision has a really nice video about them so thanks @darkmite2 for the rec on VV.

He’s a super nice guy! I bumped into him on a day the Tribute Store was doing previews. We talked for a while and I went with him to the opening.

Don’t know if a live TR will be possible but I will try to do at least a small one after if there is interest.
Here are the details:
Who: Me, DH, DF, DFH, DFS (11 yr boy)
When: March 21-29*
How: We all fly down together on 3/21 unfortunately we have a 3.5 hr layover in Atlanta (not originally that long but longer is better than shorter) and we get into MCO at 11:55 pm. Did not want to deal with busses or flakey Lyft/Uber drivers at that time of night with 5 people and their luggage, so have hired a van with Mears to pick us up and take us to the hotel.
Where: All Star Sports and Royal Pacific**
- They are leaving on 3/29 but DH and I are leaving on 4/1 to take advantage of our APs
** They are switching to RP on the 27th but only DF and I (and DH) know about the switch. We will “all” be staying there to get Express Pass for the 28th (our surprise UOR Harry Potter day that DFS does not know anything about) and for DH and I on the 29th.
We have scooters for DH and I as usual but pick up at ASS will be Sat morning because we are getting in so late.
Also, feel free to guess which shirt goes with which person. Again, DFH and DFS don’t know about these.

I’m guessing the ninja one is DFS’s. I think you are the coordinator. DF is the manager. DH is encourager. DFH is the supporter.

DFS has never been to any theme park so he’s very excited but what he will like is unknown. However, we have told him he needs to go through the queues (for certain rides) but that he doesn’t have to ride anything he doesn’t want to. My biggest concerns are for ToT and GotG but who knows!
Itinerary:
3/22: HS late start will have LLMP and Rise SP. Emphasis on Star Wars with a 1:15 Oga’s but also things like MMPP, Indy and Muppets.
3/23: RD MK with LLMP and 7D SP and Tron. Hop to EP around 2 pm. Space 220 restaurant at 3:15 pm. SP GotG.
3/24: Rest day. Lunch or dinner at T-Rex with Landrys card.
3/35: RD EP and pick up anything that we didn’t get and shop. Special top secret surprise for afternoon/evening. 
3/26: RD AK with 9:55 am Tusker House LLMP and SP FOP.
3/27: Transfer to UOR… night before am going to tell DF (who knows), DFH and DFS that there has been a glitch with their hotel room and they have to check out today while they assign them another room. They can put their stuff in our room or bell services. Then around 2 or so surprise them with the shirts and tell them about Universal/Harry Potter day the next day. Also, explain they are transferring to RP etc. and head over there around 3:30/4 pm.
AM: tentative MK or wherever they want to go but no LLMP.
Go to RP and get settled.
Dinner at either Hard Rock or Toothsome I have a res for both at 6:15 pm.
3/28: HARRY POTTER!!! We will be bring our 3 interactive wands so they all can have fun doing spells without having to pay $$$. DH and I will get one of the new 2.0 wands to share. Anything else is extra. We will RD Studios because DH and I feel strongly that Diagon Ally is experienced properly first and then do Olivanders. At least one meal at 3B or LC.
3/29: our friends head back to Milwaukee because they have school on Monday.
3/30: DH and I jump back over to UOR to take advantage of EP and play with new wand.
3/31: Something Disney
4/1: we head home

Sounds like a great trip full of fun surprises!
Are you getting new wands or keeping the original 3 only? I’d love to know how / if the original wands can interact with the new 2.0 spell locations!

We will get one new wand for us to share and but bring our 3 original ones so DF and family can play too. I’ll let you know how that goes.

. I’m a bit nervous to do this with 5 people, but at least everyone has the note that they can purchase tomorrow at 7 am est. This is an improvement over a week ago when only DH and I had that note. I had emailed DF the Undercover Tourist documents with their ticket information and told her to link them and to let me know if she had any issues. I suspected that she never got around to it or got distracted - which I completely understand - the woman works crazy hard and NEEDS a vacation . Eventually I just got her login information and sure enough no tickets, easy enough to do and she’s none the wiser. My stress level immediately dropped several levels.

LL day went EXTREMELY well!!! The only issue was trying to get a GotG SP for a day where I had already gotten 7D and Tron SP 
oops!! Only allowed 2 SP on any day. No worries, I was conflicted because the queue is so much better in the standby/VQ so we will wait if they want to ride. Plus, saving some $$$ is always good.

Things are starting to come together!! Almost had a major issue but fortunately DF mentioned it and I was able to fix it.
I made the flight arrangements and didn’t know that DFH’s name was a nickname and not his legal name so made tickets in the nickname. He looked this week to check on things in the delta app and couldn’t find the ressies. I remember seeing some pretty stressful situations on here with people’s ID not matching ressies so I said I would call delta.
Jacqueline at Delta was fantastic and was able to fix everything!!! I told her she was great and that she was worth every second I had spent on hold! Made her day!!
So I’m very glad we discovered, realized and fixed a problem BEFORE it actually became a problem!!

So lucky that you caught that and were able to easily fix it. A friend of mine once booked her flight using Kim instead of Kimberly. She realized immediately what she had done but the airline was supremely unhelpful about fixing it. It took weeks to get them to allow her to change the name on the ticket!
