I’m a little sad for my kids’ sake that they are taking away the design element of the experience. They loved that part. But selfishly I’m glad it’s gone. It was a source of contention and stress to have to decide which kids were in control of design. Better to just leave it be.
Oh yay for a passholder preview during my dates. Now for me to tell the kids they can’t ride with me since they aren’t passholders. ![]()
Disney math at it’s best. I fully support it.
Oh no - didn’t realize they got rid of that part. That was a really fun part.
My sentiments exactly. That design part caused so much stress, aggravation and grief that it took away from the ride because the kids were still fixated on the design stuff as we boarded!
Did you ever get a chance to try Sum of all Thrills at EP before it closed? That design element was so much better because the design actually significantly impacted your ride experience.
Okay, now it becomes interesting. I have an AP and an EPCOT reservation for 7-19. Abandoning my sisters is now more tempting.
I’ll take my cues from @Enchantedbythemouse and how she manages that.
Also
Soarin is now the new TSMM!
Nemo, LWTL, SE, TTC, Figment, MS, and now Soarin’. (Am I missing any?)
Nemo. What is TTC? Nevermind - Turtle Talk! I have never done that one.
The Three Caballeros.
Three Caballeros doesn’t have LL. But Turtle Talk with Crush does! (I think)
I wasn’t including shows or meet and greets, just rides. But maybe I should have.
Oh. I suppose I should know that, but since we don’t do LLs, I guess I never paid attention.
Unfortunately no meet and greets have LL anymore. It would definitely help with availability, but I think makes the lines extra long.
Shows definitely still fill the ranks of LL. I have never known where to clasify Turtle Talk and Monsters Inc. But I guees anything that lets people in all at once is definitely a show.
Bri has already texted me to let me know that she thinks I should get a VQ each day and we can take turns with who rides with my band. She wants to ride it!
Do we know if they’re keeping the single-rider line?

So I priced out a trip and flying on Frontier and staying at ASS for three nights would be an insane $475. TOTAL.
I’m flying back from a fun NYC trip on Monday and would leave for Orlando on Thursday. I have a board slide deck review on Friday so would need to work Friday. I also assume this means my virtual queue time would perfectly overlap with the meeting.
Part of me is like “the timing is bad, I’ll be there in August, I don’t even like Test Track!” And the other part of me is like “DO IT! DO IT!”
Agree with this part.
We just made our plans for the 18th! We are driving over 20hrs straight thru, checking in on the 17th, EP the 18th, hop to MK for fireworks, check out the 19th, stop at hotel in Jasper for $189, arrive home late the 20th. Just a little over $500 for a crazy first time passholder preview.
I’m crazy excited.
1 to be back, 2 first preview for us - ever, 3 first time driving straight thru
And the weird part is, this is not exactly the first preview I thought I would pull a crazy stunt for. I would have placed $$$ on my DH saying “Not this preview, but Villians Land - yes”
