What about something like Backlot Express or Pinocchio’s VH or CHH?
Bottom line is look at the menus and decide for yourself. I never purchased one before. But this time is looked very sensible. If you feel uncomfortable, then do not buy it.

The rental site I was looking at suggested that standard studios book at 11 months but the others are 9 or 10.
Maybe it is people rolling a reservation until Christmas and they’ll open in a couple days?
Never ate at Backlot or Pinocchio’s on the dining plan, unfortunately. As far CHH, I opted for the drink as none of the desserts interested me.

Just curious, have you priced out doing the QS plan instead? Though, really, that might be more food than you want to deal with though when combined with OOP table service meals.

Two snacks per day is awesome. One covers a drink at lunch and the other is your actual SNACK.
I’m sure very crafty people have devised all kinds of ways to make that other snack count as a meal, but i wouldn’t. I’d buy or pack that other meal for my hungry members (because I would have anyway) and I’d have it for a treat.
I can see how this might attract people to staying onsite if they were willing to stay onsite. I want four+ bedrooms and I will never be able to afford that on property. But if I were staying onsite anyway, this looks like it would work out well.

All QS come with a drink but not a dessert, that would be a snack credit on top. You get 2 snack credits per day (well night as it’s based on nights stayed).

My $51/lunch would actually be another $12 with drinks. That is $63 which is exactly the zone I was paying in November for our daily dinners.

5 QS meals $315
40 snacks??? way more than $89!
My kids would be in heaven if I was “yessing” up their sweet teeth!!

Some of you gave me advice last fall when debating this for my trip with DD6 and DD-almost 3. Free dining even upgrading is a no-brainer but paying full price for DP it is harder to make it work. I finally went with DP because I wanted to do lots of character meals with my girls (side benefit, never having to wait in lines in the parks to meet characters!) and they are so expensive, that it was a better deal with DDP. I looked at all the snacks as a free bonus. We didn’t need near as many as we got, but when they both wanted their own ice cream even though I knew they wouldn’t eat it all…so what, it was all bonus! And I did enjoy trying drinks at each meal even though I rarely ever drink normally. For what you calculated, I think you will get $100 worth of enjoyment out of the extra benefits. I would go for it.
