Stayed the the Swan beginning of March. Staff is very nice, pool is ok. Location is walk able to HS and Epcot was definitely the highlight.
Rooms were ok at best. Clean, but shabby(there was an area where they ran out of one color paint so just started using a different one).
Housekeeping was ok. Didn’t always replace towels or toilet paper and was never done before 4pm each and every day.
QS and takeaway places in both were bad to terrible. Ample hills gave us the worst milkshake of our life, and the board walk pizza place gave us raw pizza dough three times in a row until we finally gave up. I’m not sure you can use me as a guide for restaurants because this was my first time to Disney in over two decades and everything that people said was amazing and couldn’t be beat I found mediocre.
You can book all FP+ 60 days before first hotel night on MDE if you stay at either Swan or Dolphin.
