Splash Mountain is showing a 41 minute duration on my personalised touring plan. Is this correct as it seems to be quite a long time for this attraction ?

Thats how long it is with Child swap option. It assumes you will do it x2 back to back. Check you haven’t ticked child swap.

That’s the answer. Removed child swap and it reduced to 18 minutes. Thanks. I will check my other plans in relation to child swap.
