Book FPP for it. At least then you don’t have to wait in line!
It is also currently planned for it to close again next year, for a refurb. Hopefully with electric cars, in keeping with the whole Tron theme.
However, that is not certain. I guess it depends on how budgets run for other stuff between now and then.
I wish they would extend the track back to it’s length during the 80’s … it’s so short now due to the multiple track changes over the years.

Lose the metal tracks, bring in 2 seat go-karts. Everybody wins.
You would never get me off of this attraction if I had free will. I LOVE go-kart tracks at the beach and in Pigeon Forge.
